Operations Manager

Angela  Operations Manager

Angela deals with the day-to-day bookings, administration and accounting activities, fundraising and schedules vehicle repairs and safety inspections and weekly staff activities.  She also takes and manages the Travel Club.

Angela has been an employee of East Durham Community Transport since February 1998 so with nearly 30 years of experience, she lives and breathes community transport.

Tony 

Volunteer

Tony has recently retired but still volunteers every week helping with fuelling/cleaning and driving - we are very grateful for his ongoing support.

Tony had been an employee of East Durham Community Transport since 2008

Darren 

Driver

Darren has been with us since 2001 and is a valued, experienced member of the team.  Along with his vast years of driving experience and working in the third sector, he is also a qualified MIDAS trainer, although due to driving commitments he no longer carries out training but has lots of advice to give in that area.  His great sense of humour is appreciated by the passengers and nothing is too much trouble for him as far as they are concerned.  

Norman

Norman comes from a youth work background so has a great knowledge of the third sector and is a valued member of our small team.  A good sense of humour and happy to help with anything kind of guy!  Passengers love him and his willingness to help without being asked.

We really couldn't ask for a better staff team.
