EDCT Board of Trustees
The Voluntary EDCT Board of Trustees is made up of representatives from our member groups and they are elected onto the Board at our Annual General Meeting by nominations received.
The Trustees meet approximately 4 times per year to oversee the organisations activities and to support the staff and volunteers.
We are lucky enough to have a board made up of professional people who bring so much to the organisation. They are all dedicated in ensuring that the organisation thrives and that it is promoted throughout the area.
Over the last few years especially, they have really shown their worth and have overcome many obstacles and worked alongside staff to get through the ‘tough times’. It has been a learning curve for all involved and it proves that volunteers are a vital part of life and the ‘Big Society’ idea has already been around for a long time.
As volunteers, they are an asset to the organisation as they go ‘above and beyond’ in many situations which is crucial to the organisations success and now we have a smaller staff structure they are more involved than ever, supporting the staff at every level.
The AGM is held in May each year and all are welcome to attend – please contact the office for details.
