Driver Training

New drivers must hold a valid MiDAS (minibus drivers awareness scheme) certificate to drive our vehicles.  If you have previously held a MIDAS certificate, and are a regular driver of passenger vehicles, you can drive without renewing after taking a short on road test drive with us.

A MiDAS certificate last 4 years and is transferable between organisations you are involved in.

The course is carried out in a day and consists of a theory session, multiple choice test and an hour long on road assessment.

We can provide MiDAS training to our member groups if required but we have limited availability and only run courses when we can.  Please ring 07826 867863 to enquire about availability and cost.
